The Classic Passover Breakfast

Matzo Brei Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 4 matzos
  • 4 egg whites
  • Pinch onion powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, break up matzo into bite size pieces.
  2. Sprinkle water over matzo to moisten.
  3. Pour egg whites over matzo.
  4. Add seasonings to taste.
  5. Add oil to skillet and brown the mixture in the frying pan.
  6. Serve immediately.
